Working on it. It doesn't seem to like my Flickr URLs, and the iPhoto files are way too big.

Sigh. What's not working? I did it this way before! PERRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIII!!!!   I can drag the photo in, but it's huge. I used to just click the "Insert Image" icon, paste in the URL, and the photo just appeared. The permissions are set properly in Flickr. Damn!

I think I'll log out and log back in. I can't seem to get the emoticons to appear, either.

Nice turkey feathers.  Very nice.  Nicest ones I've seen up close.  All shiny like.

This reminds me of when I was in the hospital, and they gave me liquid potassium. Before giving it to me, my nurse, who was a guy, by the way, and just so very nice, looked like he played college football, and so respectful, so he says to me, this will taste a little bitter. I sipped at it, and it was the foulest, most god-awful, ickiest thing I'd ever tasted in the entire world ever in my life. I nearly spat it out while exclaiming, SHIT! He said how bad is it, can you describe it? So I took another sip which was worse than the first, and I said, if I were a jackal living in the wild and came upon a dead carcass of an animal that had been lying there rotting for days upon end and smelled horrible, and all this squishy stuff and maggots and things were all in it --- and at this point the big hunky nurse is grimacing and looking ill and makes little sounds of disgust and the friend with me at the hospital was covering up her face and shaking her head -- and I finished with, and then as a jackal, I got down to this rotted mess and tore into it and began lapping up the old blood and rotted liquids -- and everybody was gagging then -- that's about how this tastes.
And then there was silence in the room, and the nurse said he'd never heard it ever described like that.

    Sounds like Buckley's Cough Elixir.

I guarantee it couldn't be nearly as bad, but then it would be worth seeing you try both and telling me your opinion!

Sounds like the stuff they gave me to settle my stomach once when I was in the hospital. Tasted HORRIBLE, but it worked a treat!

The photo was a closeup of turkey feathers gleaming in the sun, reflecting many colors.

^that^ is an American Tree Swallow on a nesting box. I figured out that I have to extract the URL from the HTML code on Flickr, then paste it into the "insert image" box.

Female Osprey (aka, Fish Hawk) on a nest on a platform built back when Ospreys were endangered. They've recovered just fine, but since Ospreys reuse the same nest year after year, the platforms stay.

And this is Dexter, an English Cocker Spaniel. Although he's lived in California for 11 years, he still barks with a nice Received English accent.

How do we post photos here? (Sorry, I bet it's written million times... but...)

    2012

I did it by uploading my photos to a Photobucket account, then they give you a direct link, which I put in the little 'insert image' box, and it worked! There are probably other ways that work as well, that's just what I did.

My animal family, Anna the dog, George, AKA the big clawed bastard is the grey tabby, and Cleo the orange tabby... did you know that it is very rare for an orange tabby to be female?

I did not know that was rare, I only knew about the calico thing.

Your animal family is lovely. Before I moved almost 900 miles, I had an orange tabby (male) named Kumquat.
